The Logout Button widget can be used in conjunction with secured content pages to give users the option to sign out when they are done interacting with your website.
The Logout Button is provided as a pre-configured control that can be added to any zone on a content page. This gives the administrator a great degree of UI (user interface) flexibility when designing the content flow of a page.
If you do not the pre-configured look of the logout button control, you can create your own logout buttons or links by pointing to the /logout link on your site. The URL of /logout is a pre-configured URL that executes the sign-out process by clearing session cookies and state.
